he forests were once a beautiful sight to behold and known by a name that equaled the awe they inspired. Now they are dark and twisted. It is said that the sun no longer shines here. Thus it has been named Shadow Wood. It is a place where demons stalk between the trees and unseen birds sing their sinister songs. The foreboding trees hide many secrets, be they good or evil. It is also said that those who enter here are unable to discern in which direction north lies.
