[+] The Order of the Triad
First formed on the planet Parthoris in the merged dimension, the Order of the Triad is the group most devoted to the Serpent Riders. The actual faction is composed of three sub-factions, each with their own tasks. The sub-factions, while all worshipping the three Serpent Riders, are individually led by one of the three demon brothers: The Order Army, led by Eidolon; The Order Cult, led by Korax; and The Order Magi, which is under the leadership of D’Sparil. The three demons are worshipped by the Order as ultimate masters and Gods. All members of the Order will gladly lay down their lives for the Serpent Riders. Any who do not worship them are considered to be Heretics worthy only of death if conversion fails. Those caught within the influence of the Riders for any period of time become tainted and corrupted. Their physical appearance is warped beyond recognition, and they metamorphose into an all-new species. While for most this is a voluntary process , there are a select few that undergo this mutation against their will. Once someone becomes a member, whether by choice or by force, they can never return to their previous life; what they were before is forever lost to the darkness.
[+] The Order Army
Since this world is not completely theirs, the Serpent Riders need a brute force capable of slaughtering those not willing to join them. This war machine is known as the Order Army. Who better to lead such a horde than Eidolon, “The Destroyer” Himself -- He who resurrected the Four Horsemen to serve as His Generals. Each Horseman controls one fourth of the Order Army. Their collective goal is to conquer the land and purge it of all Heretics. Though each Horseman has his own distinct tactics, all have proven to be dreadfully effective. Many towns and cities have fallen under the Order of the Triad’s control, and most of these are due to the merciless, relentless campaigns of the Order Army. The hordes are composed of the tainted races of corrupted followers, as well as demons and undead monsters loyal to the Serpent Riders. The plans of the Order Army remain a secret only the Serpent Riders know. It is feared that should all four Horsemen bring together their troops, the massed hordes of the Order Army would easily overtake any defense the Light Followers have.
[+] The Order Cult
Wanton destruction and brute force is not the only manner in which triumphs are achieved for the Order of the Triad. The Order Cult uses secrecy, trickery, and dark rituals to further the goals of their three demonic masters.While territory is a concern for the Horsemen, the Order Cult deals in the preparation of fresh minions to supplement the hordes that serve the Serpent Riders. Korax, the Corruptor, speaks into the minds of all those in the Order Cult. It is their job to bring darkness into the world, so that it is to their liking when the Riders enter the mortal realm. Those who are weak of mind hear the calling of the Serpent Riders, and are seduced into devoting themselves to these dark entities with lurid, tantalizing promises of power and lust. That is the first step in becoming an Order Cultist. The powerful influence that corrupts their minds grows ever stronger with each new member. Those who have joined will try their best to deceive any Light Follower into bowing to the Riders. When the members fully transform into the dark new creatures of the Order, and are unable to walk amongst the Light Followers, they spend their time performing unholy rituals. These magical spells are capable of bringing forth the monstrous servants of the Riders to this world. They can also cloud minds, and bring doubt in the Light to all in the area. Those who doubt are more susceptible to The Corruptor's beguiling call. Just as Korax had corrupted the three leaders of Cronos with dark power, does He now bring that darkness to all the world through the members of His Order Cult.
[+] The Order Magi
While the Order Army and the Order Cult work to conquer and enslave the world, there is a third group which toils ceaselessly to execute the darkest plan of the Order of the Triad.. They are called the Order Magi and are led by D’Sparil, The Sorcerer. They are researching an unholy ritual which will bring the Serpent Riders back to life. Should they succeed, the Serpent Riders will penetrate the mortal realm and be free to walk the land. All remaining life shall become tainted, and the world will know only darkness. The Order Magi stops at nothing to gain as much magical power possible, for such a spell nearly requires the might of a God. They are busily constructing dark towers in areas of greater magical energy, siphoning it for their research. When needed, the Order Magi can rain deadly black magics down on an area to aid the Order Army in their battles. Often they will send their lesser members or members of the other two sub-factions to retrieve powerful artifacts, which are then perverted and exploited as a means to further their cause: the opening of this realm to the Riders. No one outside of the Order Magi truly knows how close to completing this great ritual they are. On rare instances, an Order Magi's research work will be distributed to others without explanation, and he will be secretly transferred from his post and sent to join with members of the other two groups. The purpose of these arrangements is shrouded in dark mystery.
